OUR NAME & IMAGERY
In Norse mythology, Delling is the God of Dawn, father of Dagr (God of Day).

OUR FOUNDER
Nick Ellsmore, Director of Delling Advisory, has a proven track record of successful business strategy development and execution in the information security industry. His previous companies, SIFT and Stratsec, received awards including the national “Business of the Year” in the Telstra Business Awards 2010, and “Employer of the Year” at the AISA Awards 2012. With other corporate awards for SIFT and Stratsec including entries in the BRW Fast 100 in 2008, the Australian Export Awards in 2009, and being named “Most Innovative Information Security Company” at the CSM ACE Awards 2012 (Malaysia), Nick has a clear track record of significant success in the information security industry. Nick was the recipient of the inaugural “Information Security Professional of the Year” Award at the AISA Awards 2012.
At a corporate level, Nick executed the acquisition of Safecoms Secure IT by SIFT in 2007, and the merger of SIFT into the Stratsec business in 2009. Following 18 months of rapid growth, Nick led the internal team in the sale process of Stratsec to BAE Systems Australia in 2011.
As Head of Business Development, Nick helped build Stratsec into a company with over 400 clients including 70% of the ASX 20 largest companies and all major Federal Government agencies, and with projects delivered in over 20 countries including for international bodies such as the United Nations and APEC. Nick personally delivered over 100 presentations at conferences and events in the period 2000 to 2012, receiving the 'best speaker' award multiple times.
